Getting Started with Teensy (Arduino Alternative)

In this project I’m going to show you how to get started with Teensy.

Thanks to Paul from PJRC.com for sending me the Teensy 3.0. This is by far the best Arduino alternative out there.

I’ve made a video where I go into some of the specifications of this board and I also show how to create a blink LED project with Teensy in less than 4 minutes.

    • Thanks for sharing, I’ve never seen that board before. It looks awesome!

By the way PJRC.com also offer a great forum support for what I’ve read so far.

    • Hi Afonso!
thanks for taking the time to leave a comment.

The Teensy uses a 32 bit ARM Cortex-M4 48 MHz.
The teensy has more memory than an Arduino micro/nano
It also has an awesome feature of having 3 UART’s which allows you to establish 3 serial communications at the same time.

      Those are the main advantages!

      Have a nice day.
      Rui
